The Ford Motor Company was founded over a hundred years ago, in 1903, by Henry Ford and a group of 11 investors. The first Ford car was sold to a doctor in Detroit, Michigan.

After more than a century, Ford is still one of the most driven names in the auto industry. They feature a huge line of great vehicles, whether you need a car, truck or van. Whatever your lifetstyle, there is sure to be a Ford vehicle perfect for you. There are some drivers who only buy Ford automobiles because they have owned one already and became so confident and comfortable with their vehicle, they refuse to drive anything but a Ford!

Today, Ford is keeping up with modern times and expanding to a demanding worldwide audience. The continue to improve their designs, and create smarter, safer, and more efficient automobiles.

The Ford Motor Company has state-of-the-art plants and facilities across the globe, not just in the United States. In 1999 Ford Motors introduced the Ford IKON from its plant in India.
